Abstract

In the present paper with the aid ofPC-Opera-8.7 a 21 kV surge arrester with and without broken shed is simulated for electrical field and voltage distribution. The effects of broken shed on electric field and voltage distribution, also position of broken shed investigated and results will be shown.
